By sequentially redirecting the same session traffic across multiple content security tools and filtering operations, CID lets carriers customize an unlimited number of content inspection flows for an unlimited number of managed accounts and granular policy-based content inspection service customization.
On-the-fly Service Self-provisioning
CID enables on-the-fly, real-time subscriber service provisioning, without requiring static, manual reconfiguration. Based on real-time sniffing of RADIUS reply attributes, CID automatically classifies users to match between subscribers and their associated content inspection services. With CID, operators can provision services to users with dynamic IP addresses, eliminating the need to update and populate static network policies. This self-provisioning capability simplifies managed security service rollout along with automating the management of subscriber growth for reduced IT complexity and OPEX savings.
Flexible, Best-of-breed, Multivendor Content Security Architecture Support
With CID, carriers gain complete vendor freedom and flexibility to create content security architectures based on any third-party tool, including Symantec, McAfee, WebSense and Surfcontrol with no integration overhead, supporting any best-of-breed content security offering.
