Mr. Aviv leads the strategy for Radware's carrier market solutions for both fixed and mobile operators. As Vice President, Advanced Services, he draws upon decades of expertise in the telecommunications sector and works closely with service provider executives and industry analysts to ensure Radware solutions meet market needs for optimizing IP service operations. Mr. Aviv's team provides technology and marketing direction and support across the Radware organization. Mr. Aviv also currently holds the position of the Technical Chairman of the Israeli Telecom Standards body.

Prior to his appointment at Radware, Mr. Aviv served at Ofek, an Israeli ILEC, as the Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Aviv led the design and development of a new, "all IP", national carrier network based on wireless access technologies. He also functioned as the head of Ofek's consulting group. Before joining Ofek, Mr. Aviv led the design and implementation of various enterprise-scale communication systems.

Mr. Aviv holds a B.S. cum laude from Ben-Gurion University and an M.S. cum laude from Tel Aviv University. Mr. Aviv also earned a Ph.D from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer at Radware, Mr. Chesla is responsible for leading the Company’s strategic technology roadmap and vision. This includes laying the theoretical basis for future products and solutions, research and design of core product algorithms, evaluating OEM opportunities and representing the company’s technology and future plans to the industry. Mr. Chesla also steers merger and acquisition research and manages intellectual property ownership.

Mr. Chesla is recognized as a leading figure in the international network security market. Prior to the CTO position, Mr. Chesla led Radware's security division as VP Security and successfully positioned Radware’s network security business as a pioneer, and a market leader in the cyber attack mitigation.

Prior to joining Radware in 2005, Mr. Chesla held several senior positions with V-Secure Technologies, a start-up security solutions company. During his tenure as CTO and Vice President of Product Strategy, Mr. Chesla managed all research and development operations and led the engineering of the organization’s behavioral network intrusion prevention system and its core technology. Mr. Chesla also directed V-Secure’s technology partnerships, including the partnership that ended in the acquisition of V-Secure by Radware in 2005.

Mr. Chesla has authored a number of articles for major publications in the areas of advanced network behavioral analysis and information security and has earned numerous patents in these areas. His views on industry trends and best practices have been featured in articles, white papers, and on the conference speaking circuit.

Mr. Chesla holds a B.S. in physics and mathematics from Tel Aviv University.

Nir Ilani is Product Marketing Director at Radware where he leads the planning, positioning and go-to-market strategy of Radware's innovative Application Delivery solutions. Mr. Ilani also heads product marketing for the company’s carrier and service provider solutions portfolio.

Mr. Ilani has diverse technological, product management and marketing experience including design, implementation and launching of large-scale application infrastructure and networking solutions. He has a solid background in working closely with US, European & Asian customers from both enterprise and carrier/telecommunication markets. His expertise extends to network infrastructure, enterprise software, virtualization, disaster recovery, application performance management, internet technologies and open-source software. Prior to his tenure at Radware, he held various leadership and managerial positions at leading hi-tech companies including Zend, Mercury (acquired by HP) and Exent.

An Internet Society (ISOC-IL) member, Mr. Ilani is frequently interviewed by the media and his views have been published in several IT and technology magazines, including InformationWeek, BusinessWeek, The New York Times, NetworkComputing, eWeek Europe, DMNews, TMC, VNUnet, CNETNews China, ZDNet.fr, Silicon.fr, bMighty.com, SCMagazine, CBR, and more. He is also a frequent speaker in technology conferences and industry events. Mr. Ilani holds a B.A. in Computer Science, a B.A. in Business Administration and an MBA with specialization in Marketing Management -- all from Tel-Aviv University.

Mr. Meyran, an industry security specialist, manages the product marketing activities of Radware's security products division. His responsibilities include: go-to-market strategy and planning; new product version visioning; analyst and media education; and the support of key project activities for worldwide customers in both the enterprise and carrier markets.

Prior to joining Radware as Product Manager in 2003, Mr. Meyran worked at BrightCom Technologies, where he served as Product Manager for the company's Bluetooth product line of application processors, chip and software platforms, which are designed to enable the development of smart products that can communicate over the Bluetooth wireless standard. Previously, he acted as a senior communications and security consultant for projects spanning carrier network planning to secured sites designed for financial enterprises.

Mr. Meyran's views have been published in several IT & security industry magazines, including CRN, Embedded Computing Design, Financial Services Technology, Government Technology, InternetNews, Processor, SC Magazine, and TMC. He is also a frequent speaker on the conference circuit and has been invited to lecture as an expert commentator. Mr. Meyran holds a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Ben-Gurion University and MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Roy Zisapel is the co-founder of Radware. Since its inception in April 1997, he has served as Chief Executive Officer, President and as a Director at Radware.

Mr. Zisapel has B.Sc. Summa Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University in Computer Science and Mathematics. He has won numerous awards including International Wolf Prize for research students in 1995, the Intelligence Corps Project of the Year in 1994 and Central Intelligence Unit Outstanding Project in 1993. He also holds several US patents in the areas of global load balancing, network proximity, traffic redirection and multi-homing.

As Vice President of Security Solutions at Radware, Mr. Herberger is responsible for developing, managing, and increasing the company’s security practice in the Americas.

Prior to his tenure at Radware, Carl served as the V.P., Information Security and Compliance at Evolve IP, a major regional East Coast Cloud Security provider. In that capacity, Mr. Herberger was instrumental in the successful start-up of a $6M+ annual revenue SMB utility-priced and delivered private cloud security offering. Mr. Herberger was responsible for all aspects of the company’s managed and professional service security offerings including P&L, marketing, pricing, delivery, technology selection and staffing. Before joining Evolve IP, Carl served as President and Co-founder of Allied InfoSecurity, Inc. – an international provider of best-of-class security consulting and technical compliance services.

Prior to his tenure at Allied InfoSecurity, Inc., Carl served as the Information Security Officer for Barclaycard US. In this role, he was responsible for the entire information security program.

From 2002 to 2006, Mr. Herberger was the senior executive in charge of the SunGard Professional Services IT Security Practice. In that role, he defined, executed, and grew the IT security professional services portfolio to one of the top-five IT security consulting organizations in the U.S. in 2005.

Prior to joining SunGard, Mr. Herberger led the global IT security and disaster recovery function for Campbell Soup Company, a Fortune 200 consumer products company. He was responsible for the global IT security strategy and implementation, and administration of a complex $50+ million multi-platform environment.

Mr. Herberger also served as a U.S. Air Force officer, with his last duty serving the Pentagon. While at the Pentagon, he evaluated computer security events affecting daily Air Force operations. He also managed critical operational intelligence for computer network attack programs to aid the National Security Council and Secretary of the Air Force with policy and budgetary defense.

Mr. Herberger holds several certifications including: CISSP, CISM, PCI QSA, PCI PA-QSA. He has developed content for leading university use, has spoken over the years at 100+ industry events and his expert views have been featured in numerous business publications including the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Herberger holds a MBA degree in Finance from Auburn University and a BS, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
