Radware co-founder Mr. Zisapel has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director since the company's inception in April 1997. An innovator in the networking technology industry, Mr. Zisapel provides focused vision and direction to Radware as it leads the market in integrated application delivery solutions for business-smart networking.
Before founding Radware, Mr. Zisapel directed research and development projects for RND Networks Ltd., pioneering the company's award-winning IP load balancing product line. Prior to this, Mr. Zisapel led algorithmic research for Madge Networks' LAN ATM switch. Subsequent to Lucent's 1998 acquisition of Madge Networks, the device was renamed the Cajun M770 multi-layer switch, becoming a key element of Avaya's networking suite. Mr. Zisapel began his career as a software engineer at Algotech Systems, a medical imaging solutions company.
Mr. Zisapel graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in mathematics and computer science from Tel Aviv University, where he was honored with the International Wolf Prize for research students. Additionally, Mr. Zisapel holds several U.S. patents and patent applications in the areas of global load balancing, network proximity, traffic redirection and multi-homing.
As CFO, Mr. Abramovitch oversees Radware's business performance and strategic growth initiatives. He is responsible for overall financial management of the company, its financial reporting and disclosure practices, and oversees corporate accounting functions. Prior to Radware, Mr. Abramovitch was Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Orbotech Ltd. Prior to joining Orbotech, from April 2010 to April 2011, Mr. Abramovitch served as senior executive vice president and chief operating officer of Bagir Group Ltd. (“ Bagir ”), until 2007 an Israeli TASE-listed company, where he was responsible for worldwide operations. From 2005 to April 2010, he served as chief financial officer of Bagir and, from April 2009 to April 2011, as chief executive officer of Bagir’s German subsidiary. Prior to joining Bagir, Mr. Abramovitch served, from 2000 to 2005, as chief financial officer and, from 2004 to 2005, as chief executive officer and chief financial officer, of Phytech Technologies (2000) Ltd., then an Israeli TASE-listed company. Mr. Abramovitch is a certified public accountant and received a bachelor’s degree and his master’s degree in business administration from Tel Aviv University.
As COO, Mr. Kinreich is charged with setting the direction for Radware's products overseeing all R&D, QA and product management activities across the company. He is responsible for developing innovative, quality products that meet market requirements while making sure new capabilities and products are timely released to increase competitive positioning.
Mr. Kinreich has a vast knowledge for creating innovative products to match market requirements, developing R&D processes and executing R&D automation and methodologies, an experience which was accumulated in over 25 years in the high-tech industry. Prior to Radware he was the founder and CEO of Radview Software that developed performance testing and management solutions. Mr. Kinreich took the company from inception to a Nasdaq IPO accumulating hundreds of enterprise customers from the financial services, high-technology, telecommunications and retail sectors. Before Radview, he was a co-founder and VP R&D for Mercury Interactive, a company that defined the Software Qualty Assurance market and eventually was acquired by HP for $4.5B. Prior to that he was R&D manager at Daisy Systems a manufacturer of CAD solutions for electrical engineers.
Mr. Kinreich holds a BsC degree in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Bar-Ilan University, Israel.
Mr. Aviv leads the strategy for Radware's carrier market solutions for both fixed and mobile operators. As Vice President, Advanced Services, he draws upon decades of expertise in the telecommunications sector and works closely with service provider executives and industry analysts to ensure Radware solutions meet market needs for optimizing IP service operations. Mr. Aviv's team provides technology and marketing direction and support across the Radware organization. Mr. Aviv also currently holds the position of the Technical Chairman of the Israeli Telecom Standards body.
Prior to his appointment at Radware, Mr. Aviv served at Ofek, an Israeli ILEC, as the Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Aviv led the design and development of a new, "all IP", national carrier network based on wireless access technologies. He also functioned as the head of Ofek's consulting group. Before joining Ofek, Mr. Aviv led the design and implementation of various enterprise-scale communication systems.
Mr. Aviv holds a B.S. cum laude from Ben-Gurion University and an M.S. cum laude from Tel Aviv University. Mr. Aviv also earned a Ph.D from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
Ms. Trachtman has served as Vice President of Global Marketing since the company's inception in 1997. In this role, she is responsible for corporate and product marketing with additional oversight of worldwide field and channel marketing.
Ms. Trachtman played a pivotal role in the company's IPO and shortly thereafter spearheaded its successful, global rebranding campaign that repositioned the company and its entire product line. During this time, advertising campaigns under her direction won top-level, international awards for "Best Ad" in NetworkWorld (Germany) and in IT Week (UK). Previously in her tenure, Ms. Trachtman also established the company's initial product management, knowledge, and technical writing teams.
Before joining Radware, Ms. Trachtman worked for Scitex as global product line marketing manager, which was later acquired by Kodak and then Hewlett-Packard. In her time there, she also held various responsibilities including product manager and manager of U.S. product marketing.
Ms. Trachtman holds a bachelors degree in computer science and philosophy from Bar Ilan University.
As Vice President of EMEA and CALA, Mr. Gazelle is responsible for Radware's business operations across Europe, The Middle East, Africa, Central and Latin America.
Prior to joining Radware, Mr. Gazelle served as President, Head of Europe and the Americas for ECI Telecom where he led the European, North and Latin American organizations as well as the corporate sales and marketing organization. While at ECI Telecom, Mr. Gazelle held a variety of sales, marketing and business development positions of increasing responsibility while leading the regions he served to constant and substantial growth and increasing profitability.
Mr. Gazelle holds a B.Sc. cum laude from the Technion – The Israeli Institute of Technology, in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
Mr. Ying is responsible for directing and growing Radware's business in the Asia Pacific region. He plays an active role in driving the sales and service strategy for the region's customers, systems integrators, distributors, and alliance partners. During his tenure, the region has experienced exponential growth and has secured some of the company's largest deals in the carrier and financial services sectors.
Mr. Ying has a proven track record of growing business in the Asia Pacific region, bringing more than a decade of sales, business development, marketing and engineering experience with established companies to the position. Prior to joining Radware, Mr. Ying held a series of senior positions with Nortel Networks' APAC division, serving as Marketing Director for the company's Intelligent Internet Business Unit, as well as Managing Director of Greater China for Alteon WebSystems, acquired by Nortel in 2000. Before these roles, Mr. Ying served as the Enterprise Director for Nortel in Hong Kong.
Mr. Ying is a graduate of Macquarie University of Australia, where he received a master's degree in IT management.
Ms. Aruza brings to Radware over a decade of in-depth knowledge of the marketing, sale and delivery of IT solutions. As Vice President of Corporate Marketing, she is responsible for advertising, branding, creative, analyst and public relations, communications, industry events, and corporate programs worldwide.
Ms. Aruza has held management positions in diverse organizations including the F50, enterprise software providers, management consulting firms and international ventures. Most recently, Ms. Aruza served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Enamics, an IT management software company and two-year recipient of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 award. Prior to Enamics, she directed business development and marketing activities for the international performance management firm Exaide Consulting and had previously co-founded an IT Service Management consulting company. Ms. Aruza began her career spearheading national alliance efforts for Hewlett-Packard's OpenView ITSM unit to rapidly grow its nascent partner base after the company's acquisition of PROLIN.
An industry-awarded marketer, Ms. Aruza is a 2004 CMO Council inductee and has contributed her IT management subject expertise to industry articles, books, and management methodologies. Ms. Aruza graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in liberal arts and sciences from the University of Florida.
Ms. Atzmon is responsible for the strategic planning, effective management, and coordination of Human Resources worldwide and provides HR support to Radware's corporate offices.
She brings to Radware over twenty years experience in Human Resources, the majority of them with global high-tech companies. She started her HR career at Serono's InterPharm Laboratories. After that, she was with Scitex & Creo, where she fulfilled various HR management positions during the course of six years. Ms. Atzmon was also Human Resources Manager with Indigo HP, where she had leadership of organization design, development & change management. Most recently, she was VP Human Resources at Amitim, a leading financial organization.
Ms. Atzmon holds an Executive MBA from University of Bradford in The United Kingdom and a B.A. in Theatre and Political Science from Tel Aviv University.
Gadi Meroz has served as our General Counsel since April 2010. From July 2001 to November 2008 Mr. Meroz was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of IXI Mobile, Inc. Prior to that, he was an attorney at Volovelsky, Dinstein, Sneh & Co., a law firm specializing in commercial and corporate law, where Mr. Meroz focused on business and venture funding, representing public and private companies as well as venture investors.
Mr. Meroz holds an L.L.B. from the University of Leicester, UK School of Law, and an L.L.M. degree from Tel-Aviv University in collaboration with the Boalt Hall School of Law University of California, Berkeley. In addition, Mr. Meroz obtained an MBA from the University of Leicester, UK. Mr. Meroz is a member of the Israeli Bar as well as of the Law Society of England & Wales.
Yehuda Zisapel is the Chairman of the Radware Board. He is also a co-founder of Radware and has served as a member of the Board of Directors since the company's inception.
Mr. Zisapel also serves as a Director of Radware Inc., and is a Founder and a Director of both RAD Data Communications Ltd. and BYNET Data Communications Ltd. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of RiT Technologies Ltd., and a Director of other businesses in the RAD-Bynet Group, including SILICOM Ltd. and several private companies.
Mr. Zisapel has an Award of Honorary Doctorate, Doctor Honoris Causa (DHC), from Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering, also from Technion.
Avraham Asheri currently serves on the board of directors and several committees of the following companies: Elron Electronic Industries Ltd., Elbit Systems Ltd., Africa Israel Investments Ltd., Koor Industries Ltd., Discount Mortgage Bank Ltd., Micronet Ltd., Meditor Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
He was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Israel Discount Bank (the "Bank") from 1991-1998. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President of the Bank and member of its Management Committee from 1983 until 1991. Mr. Asheri also served at the Israel Ministry of Industry and Trade and at the Israel Ministry of Finance in the positions of Director General of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Managing Director of Israel Investment Center, and Trade Commissioner of Israel to the United States.
Mr. Asheri currently acts as Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee for the Board of Governors at Hebrew University. He is a member of the Executive Committee at the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies, as well as for the Executive Committee of Hadassah Academic College and Chairman of its Finance Committee and is also a member of the Audit Committee for the Jerusalem Foundation.
Finally, he provides consulting services to Abnet Communications Ltd. and Rad Bynet Real Estate Ltd and holds a B.Sc. degree in economics and political science from Hebrew University.
Prof. Yair Tauman, 62, is the Dean of the Arison School of Business in the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya since January, 2010. He is also a Professor of Economics and the Director of the Center for Game Theory in Economics at Stony Brook University, New York. His areas of research interests are game theory and industrial organization. Prof. Tauman currently serves on the board of directors of several companies engaged in the areas of online auctions, financial information, education and IT, including ADVFN Plc, which is traded in the London Stock Exchange. Prof. Tauman obtained his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in mathematics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and holds a B.Sc. in mathematics and statistics also from the Hebrew University.
Yael Langer has been the General Counsel and Secretary of RAD Data Communications Ltd. as well as several other companies in the RAD-BYNET group since July 1998.
Since December 2000 she has served as a Director of Ceragon Networks Ltd., a company traded on the NASDAQ and the Tel-Aviv stock exchange. Additionally, from December 1995 until July 1998, Langer served as Assistant General Counsel to companies in the RAD-BYNET group.
Previously, she was a member of the legal department of Poalim Capital Markets and Investments Ltd, the underwriting and investment banking subsidiary of Bank Hapoalim from September 1993 until July 1995. Prior to that, Langer was an attorney at Shimron, Molcho, and Persky in Jerusalem.
She holds an L.L.B. from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
David Rubner, 69, is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rubner Technology Ventures Ltd., and a Partner in Hyperion Israel Advisors Ltd., a venture capital firm. During the years 1991-2000 he was President and Chief Executive Officer of ECI Telecom Ltd. Prior to that, Mr. Rubner held several senior positions within ECI, such as Chief Engineer, Vice President of Operations and Executive Vice President, General Manager of the Telecommunications division. Prior to joining ECI, Mr. Rubner was a senior engineer in the Westinghouse Research Laboratories in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Rubner serves on the boards of Check Point Software Ltd., Elbit Imaging, Ltd. and other public and private companies. He also serves on the boards of trustees of Bar-Ilan University, Shaare Zedek Hospital and is Chairman of the Petah Tikva Foundation. Mr. Rubner holds a B.Sc. degree in engineering from Queen Mary College, University of London and an M.S. degree from Camegie Mellon University.
As Radware's Chief Operating Officer with over 20 years of experience and leadership with highly-innovative and market-leading software organizations, Mr. Malka leads the strategic growth within Radware's core competencies of application delivery and application and network security. Mr. Malka also leads the efforts for all of the organization's research and development as well as its technical services.
Prior to his appointment at Radware, Mr. Malka served at HP Software (formerly Mercury), as Vice President of Research and Development overseeing 700 engineers driving $1B business within the Application Lifecycle Management domain.
Mr. Malka holds a B.A. from American InterContinental University and has furthered his post-graduate education at Lahav Business School, Tel Aviv University and Harvard Business School.
Joel Maryles has held numerous senior positions in the financial sector over the past three decades. From 2007 to 2012, Mr. Maryles was a portfolio manager of T-Cubed Investments LP, an equity hedge fund that he founded.
From 1996 to 2006, he was a Managing Director at Citigroup Investment Banking where, in addition to his role as a senior technology banker, he founded and managed the Israeli investment banking operations for Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney.
From 1986 to 1996, Mr. Maryles held various senior positions at Furman Selz, a U.S.-based investment bank, including Managing Director focused on Israeli technology and healthcare transactions. Prior to Furman Selz, Mr. Maryles was an Investment Officer at First Chicago Investment Advisors.
Mr. Maryles holds a B.Sc. degree in engineering from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
As Vice President of Sales for North America, Mr. Anderson is responsible for Radware's business operations across the United States enterprise markets and Canada. Prior to joining Radware, Mr. Anderson served as CEO of MyWay Interactive. Mr. Anderson has also served as Sr. Vice President of World Wide Sales and President at Ixia KK. Mr. Anderson holds a BSEE/BSCS from UC Berkeley and graduated from the executive management program at Stanford University.
Mr. McIlvane is responsible for Radware’s carrier business unit and Global Business Development. Prior to Radware, Mr. McIlvane was Senior Vice President of Major Carriers for Genband, a leading developer of multimedia and cloud communications solutions. Prior to Genband he served as President & COO at Velocent Systems, a market leader in visualizing and understanding the network quality, performance and actual customer experience of Mobile Broadband Networks. Prior to Velocent Systems, Mr. McIlvane was also President and CEO of Personeta, Inc. and has held several senior positions with increasing responsibility at Clarent Corporation and Comverse Technology.
Mr. McIlvane has been at the forefront of “developing” technologies, providing leadership with the early adapters in their understanding and deployment. Most recently he is focused on cloud, security, SDN and NFV. He is a noted speaker, and blends his broad understanding of technology with a vision and delivery style that is both entertaining and informative.
Mr. McIlvane holds a Double BS in Business and Economics from MacMurray College, Jacksonville, IL.
