JavaScript Challenge

JavaScript Challenge is a method that is used in DDoS mitigation to filter out requests that are characteristic of a botnet or other malicious computer. The challenge consists of sending a JavaScript code that includes a challenge. Legitimate browsers have a JavaScript stack and will understand and pass the challenge transparently. DDoS bots typically are not equipped with JavaScript stack and therefore cannot pass the challenge.
