About Radware’s Vancouver Office

The Vancouver office is located in downtown Vancouver, one block from the Burrard skytrain station.  The office is strictly an R&D shop.  It is the gem of the Radware organization with a team of world-class software developers working on cutting-edge technologies. About the Candidate

We are looking for a Software Architect with a passion for modern software technologies and distributed applications. Someone who can act as high-level decision makers in the development process, determining everything from design choices to technical standards, such as platforms and coding standards. The candidate should be willing to work in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment and take on new challenges on a daily basis.  As a senior developer/architect, you will be expected to lead software projects and mentor other members of the development team.

 

Specific skills we are looking for:

  • Ability to evaluate and identify software solutions
  • Ability to conduct research, gather information, interpret data, and then create a solution
  • Expertise in C/C++, Java or C#
  • Experience with data modelling and building REST APIs
  • Experience with modern front-end technologies
  • Experience with distributed systems architecture
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies
  • Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns
 
 

Other skills that are considered assets

  • Authentication technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth, RADIUS, LDAP, MFA)
  • WAF/AMS technologies and techniques
  • Experience with Nodejs, Express and the NPM ecosystem
  • Experience with a front-end framework, preferrably React
  • Experience with Kafka, ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Hadoop
  • Website acceleration techniques
  • Strong Linux command-line skills
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks
  • Familiar with CI, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory
