PS ADC Residential Engineer


Position Description

The Professional Services (PS) ADC onsite Resident Engineer is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales services to one specific customer. He delivers customized onsite operational activities related to Radware’s solution to customers’ network IT organizations. The PS engineer will work with Product Management, Engineering, Sales and Customer Support teams inside Radware to resolve any technical issues on-site, in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Become a valued member of a customer’s engineering team
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical customer issues associated with Radware’s equipment
  • Conduct informal technical and product workshops
  • Develop standardized network and equipment operating procedures
  • Deliver best practices and solution optimization
  • Provide a software update recommendation strategy
  • Interface with other technical support personnel, R&D, and product management to escalate and resolve customer issues
  • Generate weekly reports on work in progress and statuses
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and customer personnel to work effectively

Requirements

  • At least 3 years industry relevant work experience (Networking/Security)
  • Expert level knowledge of and hands-on experience with L2/L3 switching/routing, L4/L7 switching/load balancing
  • Hands-on experience with products by Cisco, Juniper, and VMware
  • Good knowledge of the Linux environment
  • Script writing skills in at least one of the following: Bash, Perl, Python
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems based on sniffers and logs, and build re-creation environments
  • Extensive experience in a pre-, post-Systems Engineering
  • Onsite support experience around the globe and ability to travel abroad
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
  • Strong Interpersonal, teamwork, process development skills

Advantages

  • Experience with various operating systems, Web servers, and caching solutions
  • Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, security consulting, SSL, IPsec
  • Familiarity with Radware products (preferred), or other Application Delivery products/solutions
