Product Management VP, Network Security


Position Description

The Product Management VP is responsible for setting the direction of and creating the strategic plan for Radware’s Network Protection portfolio with an over $150M growing business. The VP Product Management is the driving force in delivering high quality competitive and innovative solutions that can beat the competition, and growing market share while retaining current customers. This includes market and competitive research, development, testing, product launch, pricing to expand our addressable markets reach, and winning market share.
 

Responsibilities

  • Business – Oversee and measure a $150M Network Protection business
  • Strategy driven Vision and Roadmap – Growth Strategy and Vision, Roadmap formulation, Competitive mapping, Innovation weaving, and Release accountability across enterprise, carrier, and service provider go-to markets
  • Identifies development priorities for new features and communicates these to senior management, working closely with the software development team to achieve timely completion of approved projects
  • Provides leadership in support of the design, development, and implementation of products and services
  • Oversees and directs market research, competitive activities, competitor analyses, trade-off analyses, product acceptance studies, customer service, and retention monitoring processes and initiatives
  • Builds, develops, and manages a product management team capable of carrying out needed product strategies
 

Requirements

  • BA or equivalent is required; MBA, or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing product management teams, with at least $70M direct control turn over
  • Minimum of 8 years of managing and leading teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills at both the strategic and functional level
  • Technically skilled in strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning, advertising and promotions
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal, communications, decision-making, presentation and organizational skills
  • Fluent in IP communication and computers networking protocols
  • Good grasp of cyber threat mitigation techniques and lingo – applicative and infrastructure protection
  • Must work effectively with senior management as well as cross-functionally to accomplish set goals
  • Proven ability to deliver complex products to market on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Experienced in product life-cycle management with a specific focus on self-service products and services
  • Proven know-how in defining and optimizing the user experience
