New Certifications Advance Radware's Leadership Position in Application Delivery Market

MAHWAH, NJ March 21, 2006 02:00 PM

Radware (Nasdaq: RDWR - News), a leading provider of intelligent integrated solutions for ensuring the fast, reliable and secure delivery of networked and Web-enabled applications over IP, today announced that its APSolute OS has passed strict tests to achieve certification with the Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS). APSolute OS has achieved Evaluation Assurance Level 3 (EAL 3) Certification from the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme Validation Body.

The Common Criteria is a globally recognized standard for assessing the security features and capabilities of information technology products with NIAP administering the program within the United States for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Security Agency (NSA). The Common Criteria is accepted by a number of organizations internationally as a definitive standard for proving that the integrity and security architecture of a technology have been tested against known criteria by an accredited, third-party source.

APSolute OS is the common software architecture that unifies Radware's entire suite of application delivery products, and supports integrated health monitoring, traffic redirection, load balancing, traffic shaping, bandwidth management, intrusion prevention and Denial of Service capabilities.

"Government agency and financial services institutions require the highest level of protection from cyber attacks that threaten the long-term viability of the organization," said Amir Peles, chief technology officer, Radware. "This recognition and certification by the CCEVS not only validates the scalability and performance of our security solutions but also emphasizes our commitment to providing the strictest possible security standards for all of our customers."
