Radware Wins Two Cybersecurity Excellence Awards

We are happy to announce our cloud and application security solutions were named winners in this year’s Cybersecurity Excellence Awards! In the application security category, we took home the silver for our Application-Protection-as-a-Service solution. And in the cloud workload protection category, we earned gold for our Cloud Native Protector.

It’s an honor to be recognized among industry leaders who have built reputations as innovators in cybersecurity. The seventh annual Cybersecurity Excellence Awards recognize individuals and companies demonstrating excellence, innovation, and leadership in the information security industry. There were more than 900 entries in more than 250 categories.

Unlike other industry awards, the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards depend on validation from across the community – customers, prospects, and analysts. Everyone contributes their perspectives on which companies and platforms should earn recognition.

Why Radware’s Application-Protection-as-a-Service Solution Stands out

Our application security stands out from the crowd because it operates on both positive and negative security models with full protection against OWASP Top-10 vulnerabilities. This dual model differs from the negative security models used by the competition, which utilize a few static signatures for previously seen attacks and provide only partial protection against OWASP risks. Our unique approach enables us to reduce exposure to previously unseen zero-day assaults by 99%.

Why Radware’s Cloud Native Protector Stands out

ROI. The numbers speak for themselves when it comes to highlighting the advantages of our Cloud Native Protector.

One of our customers switched from AWS management tools to Radware’s cloud security service. The change reduced the customer’s efforts to identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks from nine hours to only 30 minutes a day and shrunk support costs from $7,200 to $400 per month. With Radware as its partner, the customer significantly lowered its tool cost from $35,200 to $12,000 per month while improving risk mitigation.

The math not only reflects the advantages of our Cloud Native Protector, but so does the feedback of our customers. One of our customers said, “Radware’s Cloud Native Protector provides us with the single pane of glass to manage permissions and workloads that we were looking for. Being concerned about misconfigurations and potential risks associated with unaudited accounts has become a thing of the past. It’s fortified our cloud-based network.”
