Cryptomining is the process by which crypto currencies, such as Bitcoin, are created. Cryptomining is performed by a computer solving highly complex mathematical problems, which is rewarded/paid in cryptocurrency.
Cryptomining in its malicious form is known as Cryptojacking. This is a technique used by hackers to take control of a victim's computing resources to secretly mine cryptocurrency for their own benefit.
