Exposed Snapshot

Core to cloud data protection capabilities are snapshots, a point-in-time volume data copy that can be restored in the event of something impacting your production dataset. If the correct configuration settings are not chosen, snapshots can be inadvertently exposed. Some users choose to make snapshots public so they can be easily accessed or moved. However, if left public and unencrypted the exposed snapshot can be accessed for malicious purposes.
