Agreement with Radware improves Optivor’s Alteon support for worldwide customer base
Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR), the leading provider of integrated application delivery solutions for business-smart networking, today announced it has signed Optivor, a trusted advisor for voice, data, wireless, security and convergence products, as a Radware Alteon reseller partner; further expanding Radware’s foothold in the global application delivery market. By joining Radware’s distribution network, Optivor will receive extensive knowledge and training for the Radware Alteon product line, enabling the Company to offer a greater level of customer service support.
“We feel great about this new relationship with Radware,” stated Stuart Chandler, President and CEO, Optivor. “With a strong demand for continued support on the Alteon product line, this partnership enhances our ability to provide customers with the type of service commitment they expect and we see this as a unique opportunity for us to grow in the space.”
Under the terms of the agreement, Optivor will work closely with Radware to offer this product line as a key component to establishing the next-generation data center solution for the commercial, federal and educational markets. As a new partner, Optivor will be able to better serve its customers; increasing the value it delivers by offering the most technologically-advanced application delivery products available.
Radware is dedicated to providing the highest level of support, best practices, and responsiveness to ensure long-lasting distributor and end-customer satisfaction and success. The Company has reinforced its commitment to the Alteon brand – in terms of the product line, channel and customers – by guaranteeing a five-year product support plan and roadmap, which includes upgrading the product line and its longevity.
“Partnering with Optivor allows us to expand our global market reach and develop new application delivery channels for end-customers,” said Frank Rubio, Vice-President, Channel Development, Radware. “With additional opportunities for these offerings comes the ability for customers to experience advanced product development. As Radware Alteon products continue to emerge, we have the utmost confidence in our ability to meet the changing needs and demands of our partners and customers.”
Radware acquired the Alteon Layer 4-7 application delivery products on March 31, 2009, which included Alteon Application Switches and Alteon Application Accelerators. The Alteon products deliver application availability, performance and security by balancing and accelerating traffic and by giving IT managers control over their network. Since the acquisition, Radware has delivered enhanced training, programs and tools to help distribution partners understand Radware’s Alteon vision, key differentiators and value-added benefits.
Founded in 2001, Optivor has one of the largest worldwide install bases of Alteon products and works with leading firms in the commercial, federal and educational markets. In addition to being a Nortel partner, Optivor offers a complete range of services including design, installation, and support.
