Radware (NASDAQ; RDWR) the leading provider of intelligent Application Switching (IAS), ensuring availability, performance and the security of networked applications across the enterprise, today announced that it has reached an agreement for a pan-European distribution partnership with Allasso, Europe’s leading specialist network security distributor with offices in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Benelux and France. The deal enables Allasso to offer higher performance value-added solutions to its customers with a range of application switching solutions, including high availability, optimized performance, scalability and connectivity.
The agreement builds on Allasso’s existing successful relationship with Radware in southern Europe. Allasso undertook an extensive market evaluation to select the application switching vendor that would offer the greatest benefit to its customers, with advanced security capabilities in the product set a key factor. Radware emerged as the best partner choice, with innovative technology that offers security, reliability and performance for all layer 4 to 7 IP application needs, including intrusion prevention and Denial of Service protection.
The alliance will see Allasso distributing Radware’s extensive product range across its pan-European network of resellers and system integrators. It also leverages the marketing and selling capabilities of Allasso’s Value Added Resellers (VARs) and System Integrators (SIs). This gives Radware access to a larger number of VARs and SIs, which are already fully trained and experienced in IT security services. Radware and Allasso will also be offering full post-sales technical support through the multi-lingual Allasso European Support Center.
“The partnership with Radware allows us to offer better - and more secure - application reliability, availability and performance to our customers,” said Clive McCafferty, European business development and marketing director, Allasso. “There is a huge reliance on Internet access these days, creating an increasing need for higher levels of application availability and better response times. The load balancing, traffic management and security features of Radware’s products fit the gap in our portfolio and make them the ideal partner.”
“Allasso has built itself a reputation as a true security specialist,” said Alexandre Bertuzzi, Vice President of EMEA, Radware. “Our product portfolio offers real performance and security benefits to companies, and this partnership gives us a good route to our key market. It was important to collaborate with the right company and Allasso has proved itself to be exactly that.”
