Radware and SecureNet Join Forces to Provide Denial of Service Protection to Corporate and Government Clients

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA September 10, 2002 02:00 PM

Radware (NASDAQ; RDWR) the leading provider of intelligent Application Switching (IAS), ensuring control, performance and the integrity of networked applications across the enterprise, announced the signing of a partner agreement with e-security provider SecureNet Limited (ASX:SNX). Through the partnership customers will build and increase online trust with end-users by receiving real time security on applications and resources from Radware and SecureNet.

SecureNet provides a wide range of security services to government institutions and corporate enterprises. Its solutions are built from an extensive array of TrustServices, e-security products, and Professional Services. SecureNet has chosen Radware’s DoS Shield to provide its customers with extensive DoS and DDoS detection and protection capabilities while maintaining Gigabit throughput. Using an advanced sampling algorithm, Radware’s DoS Shield detects when active attacks begin to consume large amounts of the network's bandwidth. It then immediately blocks attacks and allows legitimate traffic to proceed normally.

“Unfortunately, denial of service attacks have become more prevalent as an increasing number of large enterprises take their mission critical business online. Radware’s DoS Shield offers our customers control of all their security requirements, from firewalls, to VPNs to IDSs,” said Graham Dodson, Product Marketing Manager, SecureNet Ltd.

“We are pleased with the mutual alliance and strategic goals of helping raise the security standards in the industry with our partnership with SecureNet,” said Yossi Vardi, Director of Strategic Alliances at Radware Australia. “Along with SecureNet, we help protect critical network resources and applications by nullifying harmful traffic before it reaches the network, while at the same time guarantee the availability and effectiveness of other defense strategies.”
