Radware’s Mobile Internet Gateway (MIG) honored for achievements in IP communications

Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR), a leading provider of integrated application delivery solutions for business-smart networking, today announced that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®), a global, integrated media company, has named Radware’s Mobile Internet Gateway (MIG) winner of the 2010 INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Awards.

The sixth annual INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Awards recognize only the companies that have demonstrated the real-world success of their IP Communications solution. Awards are based on the achievements of the solution as verified in a customer case study.

“The rising global adoption of advanced mobile devices has heightened demand for bandwidth-consuming mobile applications, requiring operators to provide reliable network services at rapid speeds while supporting escalating application usage,” said David Aviv, Vice President, Advanced Services, Radware. “This extraordinary honor from INTERNET TELEPHONY is further evidence that our MIG’s extensive capabilities allow mobile operators to quickly deploy value-added services and introduce content and applications to end-users.”

Radware’s MIG is a scalable service- and network-aware solution that dynamically enforces policies and transparently steers traffic, facilitating capital and operational expenditure reduction. The solution also improves end-user quality of experience (QoE), and its monetization engines help keep subscriber average revenue per user (ARPU) active. Leveraging Radware’s OnDemand Switch 3, MIG provides mobile operators with a tailor-made, pay-as-you-grow scalable application delivery platform, enabling improved visibility and control over mobile data traffic. MIG further allows operators to effectively introduce new services resulting in dramatic reductions in total cost of ownership (TCO).

“The editors of INTERNET TELEPHONY distinguish the companies that have made significant contributions in advancing IP communications, and Radware has shown its MIG to be an exceptional IP communications solution,” said Erik Linask, Group Editorial Director of INTERNET TELEPHONY. “Through an extensive application process, Radware’s MIG has proven its outstanding contribution to IP communications and has delivered value to its customers. We’re pleased to recognize Radware for its continued leadership and innovation in delivering IP communications technology.”
