Radware Experiences Record Growth in Number of Distributors in Q-1

Mahwah, NJ March 29, 2000 01:00 PM

Radware (Nasdaq: RDWR), a leading provider of Internet Traffic Management (ITM) solutions enabling continuous access to Web sites, IP applications and content, today announces a milestone in company growth, with its list of distributors reaching over 100 worldwide and 30 new distributors joining in the first quarter of fiscal year 2000. Radware utilizes the distributor channel to help deliver the cutting-edge technology, quality of service and technical support for which the company is known.

Industry analysts report selling through the channel is necessary to capitalize on the broad customer base in the rapidly changing world of Internet technology. "I believe the Internet Traffic Management game in the year 2000 will mostly be won or lost by how well the different vendors develop and expand their channels," said Mark Hoover of Acuitive. "Recognizing the need for quality distributors and our commitment to the reseller is what gives Radware the competitive edge," said Doron Meirom, president and CEO of Radware Inc.

As the premier ITM solution in the channel, Radware continues to maximize company potential by fostering current relationships and developing new relationships with successful resellers all over the world. Radware currently distributes through more than 100 channels to a customer base that includes a number of Fortune 500 companies.

"In the price and performance categories Radware is two years ahead of the competition," said Charles Coleman, director of communication technology at Micro System Engineering. "The number of Radware boxes going out already tells us this is going to be a major year for Micro System Engineering." "In today's e.conomy, scalability and availability are a requirement, not an option," said Eugene Ragasa of Winstar Communication, Inc.'s Professional Services Internet Practice Group. "Downtime means money lost. Radware helps us reduce this risk for our clients."

"We chose Radware because it is a proven and supported product," said Jim Bonfils of Premier Systems Integrators. "The market is getting crowded in this space, but Radware's distribution policies are channel-friendly and its sales team provides us with the local support we need."

Working with distributors gives Radware increased visibility in the ITM arena and affords customers greater product availability. Radware also considers feedback from the channel to implement new features and increase market share. Radware is committed to focusing on channel development as a long-term strategy for success.
