Radware Joins Cable & Wireless' Enhanced Solutions Provider Program

Mahwah, NJ June 19, 2000 02:00 PM

Radware (Nasdaq: RDWR), a leading provider of Internet Traffic Management (ITM) solutions enabling continuous access to Web sites, IP applications and content, announced today that it has joined the Cable & Wireless (NYSE: CWP) Enhanced Solutions Provider (ESP) program. The program allows Radware to offer customers its award-winning ITM technology along with Cable & Wireless' extensive menu of data and Internet services - including dedicated Internet access, Web hosting, sDSL, IP-based Virtual Private Networking (VPN), and Virtual ISP services. The ultimate result of participating in the unique program is that Radware clients will receive exactly the comprehensive network solutions they need.

"We are pleased to have this opportunity, not just to work closely with Cable & Wireless, but also to deliver highly customized solutions that are everything our customers need for their networks," said Ron Yair, VP of strategic alliances for Radware Inc. "Radware is raising the bar. We recognize how competitive the marketplace is today, and we are making every effort possible to ensure our clients are well-equipped not just to compete, but to lead in their market space.

For over three years Radware has maintained a leading position in the ITM market in each of the four major load balancing venues. Radware's Web Server Director (WSD) won critical acclaim upon entering the market and was recently named "Best of Breed" in InternetWeek. The Cache Server Director (CSD) is a feature-rich device for load balancing caches, and Radware's LinkProof product is the first of its kind to load balance WAN links and routers. Recognizing the need for a specific device to improve the performance and security of firewalls prompted Radware to create FireProof, the clear market leader and defining standard in firewall load balancing.

Cable & Wireless, a leading global provider of data and Internet services, recently introduced the company's innovative new ESP Program, an initiative that is establishing a network of service providers that will act as a source of one-stop-shopping for businesses.

Cable & Wireless' ESP program maximizes the availability of Cable & Wireless' expanding portfolio of data and Internet services while creating an easier way for Radware customers to order Internet-based services. Cable & Wireless provides businesses with a wide range of data and Internet services including, digital subscriber line (DSL) services; web hosting services; IP-based VPN and Managed Firewall (MFW) services; dedicated Internet access; and Virtual ISP, a private label service that allows businesses and other organizations to market and sell Internet Service - under their own company names - using Cable & Wireless' global IP network.
