What is BEAST? - Browser Exploit Against SSL/TLS (BEAST) is an attack vector that leverages a weakness in cipher block chaining (CBC) to exploit the SSL/TLS protocol. This vulnerability can allow attackers the ability to conduct a man in the middle (MITM) attack against SSL/TLS connections.
