What is DROWN? - Decrypting RSA with Obsolete and Weakened eNcryption (DROWN) is an attack vector that leverages a cross-protocol bug in servers supporting TLS by attacking their support of the obsolete and insecure SSLv2 protocol. This attack vector allows attackers the ability to decrypt, read and steal sensitive communication from encrypted connections.
