TOR (or The Onion Router) is an open source "project" which is designed to protect the true identity of someone on the internet. This is considered an "Anonymity" project.The project is designed to technically obfuscate the identity of someone's internet protocol (
IP) address by taking advantage of various technical security techniques to render the true sender's address nearly impossible to identify.
