Radware's product line geared toward HP's Blade Servers

MAHWAH, NJ February 7, 2002 02:00 PM
Radware (NASDAQ; RDWR), the leader in intelligent Application Switching ensuring the end-to-end control, performance and integrity of networked applications, announced today that its application switches were optimized to load balance Hewlett-Packard Company's new blade server series. Radware has also joined the HP Blade Server Alliance Program to take advantage of its technical, product certification and marketing services.

When incorporated on an HP-certified blade, Radware's Intelligent Traffic Management (ITM) product line, which includes the Web Server Director, FireProof, LinkProof, Cache Server Director, Peer Director and the CertainT 100, will provide enhanced high availability and security across the enterprise's infrastructure and applications running inside the HP Blade Server.

After completing a meticulously structured testing process for interoperability and compatibility under HP standards, Radware is now a member of the HP Blade Server Alliance Program. As part of the program, Radware will receive assistance with its marketing efforts for the ITM product line. This will enable customers to purchase the Radware solutions optimized for the HP Blade Server through the HP sales force, resellers and Radware's reseller partners.

"Radware is proud to be a member of the HP Blade Server Alliance Program and an underlying provider of Internet Traffic Management technology within HP's blade solution ecosystem." said Arik Ziv, vice president, Business Development, Radware. "Working together, we will harness the intelligence, flexibility and power of Radware's world-class application switching, security and health monitoring capabilities and transport them onto the HP OpenBlade architecture. The result will be nothing short of a highly cost-effective, manageable and scalable ecosystem platform from which customers can securely launch their advanced applications."

"We welcome Radware as a new member of HP Blade Server Alliance Program," said Mark Hudson, worldwide marketing manager for HP's Business Systems and Technology Organization. "A primary goal of the HP Blade Server series is to increase efficiency with end-to-end blade server solutions, and Radware's Intelligent Traffic Management products help us achieve that mission by enabling the server and network to do more work and handle more traffic, without adding more equipment."
