Version 3.0 EnhancementsHTTP Header Field Redirection
Layer 7 content traffic redirection is now supported, whereby selection decisions are based on layer 7 HTTP header fields. This offers effective and efficient content delivery by identifying content at a high level. With this feature, CSD can redirect users to a particular server determined by a language or browser specified in the header field. As a result, the CSD achieves a high level of content granularity.
Streaming SupportCSD version 3.0 is the first cache management product to fully support streaming media. Radware's CSD can support and complement any cache vendor offering streaming video or audio (RTSP/MMS), ensuring a wide range of protocol support and full optimization of cache resources.
Web Based Management (WBM
This new management tool enables users to configure the CSD via a standard web browser - remotely or locally. This provides a stronger, more versatile and flexible management with easy access to the CSD. Installation is easy, fast and similar to existing tools, thereby making the change to WBM simple.
Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) Support
VRRP support is an additional feature to the standard CSD redundancy method, ensuring users continuous service through a VRRP supporting router. Using VRRP support, the CSD can be configured to work with a VRRP router as its main backup. This cost effective protocol raises the level of availability and fault tolerance through dynamic router redundancy.
