Radware Starts UK Channel Recruitment Drive

ALDERMASTON, UK January 15, 2003 02:00 PM

Application switching company Radware today launched its Certainty Partner Programme in the UK as it seeks to recruit a deeper and more specialised team of UK partners.

The company is seeking to forge close partnerships with Platinum and Premium partners, namely network integrators, security specialists, service providers and hosting providers, to build a small but highly focused channel in the UK. Radware is developing specific solution packages with its application switching products to address the growing need for organisations to deliver business continuity, IP application availability, maximum responsiveness and site-wide security.

"To achieve optimum application performance and security, organisations have to apply network layer 4 to 7 controls, which are complex to implement and maintain," said Ken Tan, UK and northern Europe channel manager for Radware.

"Radware has a reputation for commitment to excellence in its products and high customer satisfaction. The Certainty programme has been designed to develop appealing customer solutions with partners who are leaders in their fields. Radware recognizes the need for quality integrators and our commitment to them is what gives us the competitive edge."

The launch of the Certainty Partner Programme forms part of an aggressive drive by Radware to capture UK market share through expanding not only its channel, but also sales, technical support and back-office personnel.

"The Internet has become an essential highway for mobile workers, branch offices, suppliers and customers alike but service quality remains difficult to guarantee, especially at an affordable cost. Radware is distinct from Cisco, F5 and Nortel in providing a suite of flexible, affordable solutions to address the wide range of issues arising from Internet dependence for application delivery," added Tan.

The Certainty programme features:

  • Pre-sales and technical support through Radware offices
  • Early product availability programme for customer evaluations
  • Priority allocation for ensured product availability
  • Enhanced revenue potential through rebates, volume discounts and add-on sales
  • Marketing support including joint marketing programmes, trade show support, marketing kits, demonstration units, press relations and seminar assistance
  • Partner-friendly programme administration including a streamlined authorisation process and flexible return and warranty policies
  • Online technical support and training

"Every organisation that has invested in large network and network capacity is currently focused on reducing costs. Radware's solutions are designed specifically to allow them to get more out of what they've already paid for, rather than being crudely retrofitted to meet this cost management requirement like many of our competitors are attempting to do," said Dominic Byrne, regional director for northern Europe, Radware.
