Radware (NASDAQ; RDWR) the leading provider of Intelligent Application Switching (IAS) solutions ensuring the end-to-end application availability, performance and security of networked applications across the enterprise, is pleased to announce that St.George Bank, Australia's fifth largest bank and one of the country's top 15 publicly listed companies, has deployed a Radware intelligent Application Switching solution.

St.George Bank implemented Radware's global load balancing solution to ensure complete and secure transactions and the high availability of all business banking applications. The solution is comprised of multiple Radware WSD units, ensuring the fault tolerant and optimized operation of St.George's application, database and web servers. This ensures St.George the global redundancy of their mission critical applications and reliable transaction processing.

"Radware's advanced health monitoring for detecting component failure ensures seamless failover," said Michael McCutcheon, Senior Manager Infrastructure Architecture, St.George Bank. "With Radware, we are able to address global application vulnerabilities to ensure maximum availability, enabling us to meet our application needs across network layers 4-7."

Radware SynApps Architecture is the underlying software infrastructure to the WSD deployment. Radware's unified SynApps Architecture provides comprehensive application aware services, meeting end-to-end application needs across network layers 4-7 through advanced health monitoring, traffic redirection, bandwidth management, intrusion prevention and Denial of Service protection. Radware SynApps Architecture acts as a bridge between applications and the network, controlling St.George's traffic to align their network operations and resources with all application needs.

"Radware's Intelligent Application Switching delivers optimized web application and transaction processing for complete local and global application continuity and fastest response times," said Yossi Vardi, General Manager, Radware Australia. "Together with SynApps application aware services, our devices at St.George's offer a complete and comprehensive solution for their high throughput needs."
