Radware’s Attack Mitigation Device Extends Common Criteria Certification through Laboratory Testing
Radware achieves Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level EAL 4+ for advanced versions of DefensePro product family.
Radware® (NASDAQ: RDWR), a leading provider of application delivery and application security solutions for virtual and cloud data centers, announced its DefensePro® Product Family Software Version 6.09.01 & 5.11 have both achieved certification for Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level EAL 4+.
Internationally recognized, one of the purposes for the Common Criteria certification process is to ensure that evaluations of Information Technology products and protection profiles are performed to high and consistent standards and are seen to contribute significantly to confidence in the security of those products and profiles.
This rigorous, independent third-party testing and evaluation procedure includes a formal and repetitive process to confirm the validity of how the manufacturer’s product functions against its claims. Through a licensed laboratory of The Common Criteria, Radware’s DefensePro was tested and achieved an EAL 4+. The product family of DefensePro is a set of network devices that are deployed inline in the network, and provides real-time network based Intrusion Detection/Prevention System and anti-Denial of Service protections for internal applications and infrastructure.
“Receiving this globally recognized certification validates the reliability of our products as we continue our strong commitment to our customer,” says Gabi Malka, chief operating officer, Radware. “With a solid performing and proven security platform such as DefensePro, our customers can obtain a piece of mind when it comes to securing their network.”
